July 2008 — "My family stayed here for a weekend as our son was at an MNR camp in the area. We travelled 6 hours and when we arrived, we were told that they had made a mistake and double booked our cottage. Offered us another cottage which we had no choice but to take. Toilet backed up within an hour of arriving. Had to borrow a plunger. Went to have a shower later in the evening and the sink backed up with a smelly, sandy sludge. Advised office the next morning and we were told they just had the septic cleaned. Hard to believe. Overall, the cottage was dusty and dirty, burnt out lights that we had to request be changed. Fridge and stove very dated and dirty. As for the view of Marble Lake, sure it's right across the road, but with the constant passing of vehicles on the road, dust was all you could see. Would not advise staying in the cottages, but the campground looked okay."
