July 2011 — "I camped at Hidden Village Camping & RV Park on the July long weekend for the first time. The campground is just about half way between Lynden and Bellingham. It gave us the option of shopping or eating in both cities, which was nice. The campground itself is not very large but has an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, and a basketball hoop. Some of the sites are quite close together without a lot of shade from trees. But our site was in a grassy area with lots of trees and space. Most of the sites were pull through's and were suitable for extra large RV's. Most sites have full hook ups and there is a dump station at the back of the campground that you have to pay extra for. The campground was quiet and very clean which made for an enjoyable weekend. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the Lynden area. "

July 2011 — "I spent the Canada Day long weekend at the Hidden Village Campground and it was great. There were mostly Canadians staying there so there were lots of Canada flags and people wishing each other Happy Canada Day. The campground is located a short drive outside of Lynden, inbetween Lynden and Bellingham. It was a great location for shopping in Bellingham because it is right on the Guide Meridian Road, which leads right to the Bellis Fair Mall, Costco and Walmart. The campground itself was very nice, and kept very clean. The sites have no gravel pad, everything is just grass so my husband had a bit of a hard time finding a flat spot for the trailer because we were in a field area. But once we were all set up it was a great site because of all the grassy space around us. There is a pool, laundry facilities, a playground for younger children, a basketball hoop (a little old), and a really old mini golf area. I didn't see anyone golfing, so I'm not sure if that was open to use. All in all the staff was very friendly and helpful and the campground was very clean. The showers are free but there are only two for the whole campground. It is a small campground and it was very quiet at night after 10pm. We would stay at this campground again if we were in the area."
